What features do you need to build a strong business organization?

•	Be able to collect them automatically

•	Be able to store them in folders with attachments (scans, emails, office documents)

That's all.

What software?

I will content myself here with showing that one cannot store the files in a relational database.

Indeed, it should be understood that the organization is a progressive work, and continuously challenged by the changes of the activity. The knot is therefore: what do you do with the old files when you want to change one or more types of files?

With the relational model, we immediately come into a situation of double constraint:

•	Either we export the old files to real documents in order to be able to modify the relational model without worrying about it, but then the standard tools of relational databases no longer know how to collect them.

•	Either the complexity increases continuously, because the single relational model must correspond to more and more types of files, and the programs to ensure the files deal with more and more different cases.

I can now qualify my remarks a little: we can only store the files in a relational database at the end of the process, when we have finished discovering the right organizational model for this particular company, and if, moreover, the stagnation is acceptable for its activity.
